Welcome to the Scott Boer Goat Farm “Hoosier Herd” web site.
We began raising percentage and full blood Boer Goats in 1999.
During that time we have enjoyed great success in the show ring,
both on a state and national level. We continually strive to
develop the finest quality Boer goats by adding the best genetics
possible to our herd. We carefully select sound, award winning
does combining those bloodlines with superior bucks. Our goal is
to breed top quality animals, full blood and percentage. Some of
our pedigrees include Blue Chip, Mojo Magic, Favorite Trick, Gus,
Galileo, Sumo, Pistolero, and Gauge in addition to other quality
genetics.
Our embryo transfer program combines our award winning does with
some of the best bucks in the United States to continue to improve
the Boer Goat breed.
We are proud of the traditional, red and paint show does that we
have assembled to build our herd. Our pictures and pedigrees will
tell the tale; some of our show highlights are featured.
We are proud members of the American Boer Goat Association as well
as
the United States Boer Goat Association.
